About Us

Dusk II Dawn Child Care was established in 2017. We opened our doors on March 27, 2018 with only 3 children. We have since grown to over 30 children ranging in age from 2 years old to 12 years old. We are here to allow flexibility to parents that work outside of the normal working hours as well as offer extended hours and weekends when available. We strive to build long-term relationships within the community by helping families balance their needs, children, family, and education in a home away from home environment.

Parent Review

I have three children, and all have been cared for at Dusk II Dawn. I like their communication with me and how responsive they are. My babies were excited to learn and went there every day. I have recommended families throughout the years.

My daughter is 4 and will be transitioning to Pre-K at D2D. I love how she already knows her ABCs and can count to 20 because she has been going there since she was 3. Ms. Mallory has been working with her on writing her name. I love how they care for my child.

The boys are in the summer program at Dusk II Dawn and they have been working with them on reading and writing. I like how they work with them one on one because my boys learn differently from each other. I see their growth and that is what is so awesome. They will attend before and after school there this year.

Our family loves Mrs. Quintel and her staff! They treat us like we are family. We feel good leaving them in their care daily. We hear about the exciting field trips and crafts projects and different animals they learn about. Our oldest enjoyed going to the Duke Lemur Center this summer. We appreciate their level of care and teaching.
